This week at DVerse, we are composing haibun about handwriting. I really enjoy this topic so was excited to write about it.
People have told me I write tiny. You might need a magnifying glass to see this poetry, precious part of me. Tiny words, that I want you to read, that scream, “See me!”
I write tiny, as if there’s not enough space on this paper, as if I’m trying to hide these words while being seen.
Little blade of grass
Pushes through the pavement’s cracks
Living through winter
