At DVerse, we are writing about what is invisible.
I would not say no to roses
Nor to a box of chocolates, but
Love is much more than presents;
Presence is the greatest gift:
So spend time with me,
To turn our love into poetry,
Making the invisible visible.
this was sweet and perfectly said, spend time with me, that is invisible but priceless

A lovely thought, and you are quite right. A friend of mine just said this to me the other day about her husband.

I quite agree. I’m currently reading The Five Love Languages. Tomorrow I’ll read the chapter about gifts. When I previewed the title, the thought immediately came to me, “Nope, that’s not my language. Don’t spend money on me; spend time with me instead, and I’ll be happy.”
