It is time again for a quadrille, and the prompt this week is kiss. Quite appropriate for this month. I am also sharing this with Forgiving Fridays because love is forgiving; to love someone for any length of time is to forgive.
Love creates:
Knowing we are loved makes
Us less afraid to be who we are,
Love may not be able to erase
The scars but makes them more
Beautiful, and love is the only
Power that can make us whole.
Love’s kiss gives life.

Nice ending and good observation that love makes “Us less afraid to be who we are”.

Love is the marrow of the bones of life. The marrow gives the bones life and vitality, just as love gives us life’s vitality. The kiss is the expression of that love.like this RW! 🙂

This is beautiful. Love gives life — wow, so true. Funny, your poem reminds me of an amazing quote by my spiritual teacher. I’m copying it for you below. What I am especially touched by in your poem is the receiving of nurturing with allowing yourself to be loved. I experienced that inside of me as I read it. Thank you, quite a blessed experience for a Sunday morning. 🙂
I’m honored to share this for #ForgivingFridays. You are so talented! And a beautiful person.
Blessings,
Debbie
Here’s the quote:
“There is a Game of Life and the Game of Love. Most people are playing the Game of Life, trying to make life work. Life already works. How we bring loving into it is the big key. That’s playing the Game of Love, and it’s by far the bigger game.”
