Windstorms

Two haikai poems for Frank Tassone’s prompt, windstorm (nowaki).

Windstorm

Hair whips ‘cross faces,
Frenetic winds alter course:
Technological
Developments are as winds
Tornadoes and hurricanes

Hurricane Dorian Gray

Strong storm Dorian
Deceptively beautiful —
Devastation dropped

  1. I’ve been caught briefly in such a storm as your first verse – I can’t imagine being in one for hours…
Yes, I agree with the second – Technology has its own weather storms.
Though some can be for good. I was reading this morning in the “Good News” section of a miss-dialed call that lead to a stranger helping to raise funds as well as other help for a family in need with a very sick child.
