This poem is called a Rhupunt, a Welsh form, and I learned about it from the Saturday Mix. I am also sharing it with the Writers’ Pantry.
The morning sun
When day’s begun,
On everyone
Does shine brightly.
The finches sing
On this late spring
Day unfolding —
And yet nightly
Returns the moon,
With face like runes,
And I hope soon
More hope to see.
Uplifting!

There is so much around us still to give us confidence and satisfaction. Let’s hope a few months more will let us see the light.

I love this so much, Jenna! It reads like a spell dancing with a prayer and brewing the most wonderful sort of bright. And goodness gracious, we so need that bright!
