  1. I’m so glad you were at the Google Meet, Jenna, and that I got to see and hear you read this poem. I love the idea of ‘tear-water’ and ‘sorrow-bread’ being leavened by the levity of hope.

  2. Perfect little recipe. Read it to my girlfriend, she said maybe one could skip the tears, but I don’t think so, Joy is most recognizable when framed by the sorrows, it is how we get a sense of the stakes. Love this💕

  3. I was supposed to be on pilgrimage on the Camino Del Norte now, maybe just over half way through, funny how life changes. Too true that life itself is a pilgrimage, leavened by levity. I’m glad I can know the camino will still be there and I can hope I can find another time to follow it. Thanks for the poem
