Galactic Sweetness

Inspired by the Weekly Scribblings and by the page that I colored, I wrote this poem. The coloring will be shared with Linda G. Hill’s coloring club, and I’m also linking this to Fandango’s dog days of August #6 because cats are pets. 🙂

I wear my heart on my sleeve
So swift to sadden but even
Quicker to smile or grin —
From cats’ cuteness to cupcakes
Or ice cream’s scoop of delight,
I look at the stars and see
Of sweetness there’s a galaxy.
