This décima is for this week’s challenge and for FOWC: Rocket. I am also linking to the Writers’ Pantry.
Off this planet I wish to go,
On a fast rocket want to ride:
Country’s two sides cannot abide,
More rancor it is hard to show.
So many politicians blow
Hot air; can it be used to fuel
My rocket ship? Such fighting cruel,
And very little’s looking good.
So much distrust, I think most would
Think my rocket-ship ride sounds cool.
Pandemic season, a good time to dream
Happy Sunday
Much💝love

‘Stop the world, I want to get off”? I would say, just try going to a different country – but, oh dear, we can’t do international travel any more, can we? Perhaps your way is the only dream that makes sense.

Interstellar travel would probably be the least of what we could do if we could power rocket ships with politicians’ hot air! On the better serious side, I totally get it.

Better surely to send the inappropraite humans on the rocket ship so we can get back to a better life.

Wow! If we could take political hot air and use it to fuel adventures, that would be great, wouldn’t it? 😉
