Nightmares are dreams, too.
I think if fire symbolizes our passions here, it makes sense! We have passionate dreams and we are shaped by them. Our passions may also become destructive and be a source of our nightmares, they consume us. Fire is so intriguing isn’t it? All the elements make good poetry, haha!

Looks like a modified blitz poem. To me it means life is a package deal. Light walks hand in hand with shadow. Good riddle to guess at 🙂
