A Cordial Poem

I was really hungry when I wrote this silly poem for FOWC: Cordial. I have lately been so tempted to buy myself a box of chocolates! *laughter*

A cordial greeting between
The chocolate-shop clerk and me,
As my mind and stomach wonder,
“Which should I choose?” I ponder
Peanut brittle and milk Bordeaux,
Cherry cordials and Scotchmallow,
Too many chocolates to list,
There’s so much that I’ve missed —
Why not buy a whole box,
To really knock off my socks!
