Get ready for a time of fright:
Spiders, ghouls and other horrors,
Zombies and all sorts of monsters
Insatiable — Halloween night!

One day a year we take delight
In exploring the darkest fears:
Try not to be reduced to tears
But test one’s courage and be scared,
Then eat some spooky treats prepared —
To me, this aspect most endears.
