This was written for this prompt about simple joys, and I am sharing it with the Writers’ Pantry. Happy Sunday!
The warmth of water
Cleansing one’s face,
The smell of coffee
The drinking heating the heart,
The coziness of cuddlesUnder a fuzzy blanket,
Even just a message
From a dear and loving friend:
Anything that gives me warmth.
Those are all such simple things, but cozy and joyful, I agree! And, if a cat curls up on your lap while you’re under that fuzzy blanket, all the better!

Warmth–sipped from coffee, felt from friends, shared with others–such a pleasurable gift, indeed… 🙂
