This I Seek

For Writing Wednesday and FOWC: Hail. This was inspired by the early morning this morning and when I was reading Psalm 27.

This I seek:
Your face,
As I awake
The dawn, and hail
The day —

This is unexpected:
Beauty stays,
As I take
A breath, and stretch
I praise.
