This is a Minute Poem for the Saturday Mix at MLMM. I enjoyed writing this and actually wrote 2 in a row, but the second one is just silly. 🙂 Here is the one that I like better.

I wish upon a little star,
Seen from afar.
Tonight, I cope:
Starlight shines hope.

Friends at a distance seem aloof,
But that’s not proof
That I’m alone:
Love sets the tone

And it plays music loud and clear,
Casting out fear.
The stars and moon
Will join soon.

  1. I enjoy looking out the window at night. Sometimes I can see the moon. Unfortunately, a bright street light blocks out the stars.
