On this day after Mother’s Day, I wrote this poem in honor of my mom and moms in general. 🙂
I thank you now for thankless tasks
That you did do with so much love,
That which I did not know to ask
For, yet of which I was in need.
You nurtured from an unborn seed
My little life, which you hold dear,
You still give me new confidence:
A helpful comfort through all fear,
A gentle guide, ’til I could steer.
