Ribbons and Wind

This is another poem for FOWC: Awry, as well as for the prompt on My Vivid Blog and Writing Wednesday.

Only vicariously now, the feeling
Of a little girl in a field, running
Bliss bubbling, hair-ribbon awry,
Happy as the clear and sunny sky.

The wind with her long hair
Is dancing, without a care
In the world, even an unwinding
Braid, unafraid, pure joy finding.
