Where Happiness is Hiding

Thanks to Fandango for today’s FOWC: Piano. Also linked with DVerse OLN.  I was going to participate live, but that didn’t happen. 🙂

These musical piano keys
Unlock the place where happiness
Is hiding; playing them frees
Notes, flowing from fingers,
Sending a message
Expressing the ineffable,
For those with ears to hear.

Old photo of me about to play the piano (not my piano)

    – oh, what a wonderful feeling that is! I want to get a keyboard at least for my kids this Christmas. We move around too much for a piano, but I was lucky enough to have one growing up.

  2. My son and daughter are musicians…..my husband and I have never played or sung a note. Everyone says, where did they come from? I always laugh and say my husband plays the spoons and I play the comb with waxed paper! 🙂 I’ve always envied people who can sit down and play the piano. My son would literally get lost in the music he was making. Wonderful post.

  3. Did you play them transcendentally? (Sorry that’s a in-joke relating back to my poem ha ha!) I love the line: “Expressing the ineffable.”

It would be lovely to have a little clip of you playing next time?

    Wishing you well ❤
