As usual, Linda has a Stream-of-Consciousness Saturday prompt for us today: It is to “Use ‘rev’ or find a word that contains it.” It’s pretty easy to find a word that contains it (*pokes blog title*). I’ve already written about why I call my blog / pen name Revived Writer, so here’s something else.
There was a girl named Revived Writer,
Whom many others saw as a fighter —
Daily revved up her pen
And wrote poems so often,
She thought in iambic pentameter.
(Fun fact: When I read Dante’s Inferno, the translation was in iambic pentameter. I proceeded to write 3 sonnets in 2 days! XD )
