Learning Peace

May Your presence be our peace,
Tree of life, the cross.
Life is not of trials free,
Here love leads to loss.
Yet with Your companionship
Is love everlasting,
We are ushered to a feast
After tears and fasting.
Those are healed who had been ill,
By Divine Physician’s skill.

This was not for any prompt, but I wrote it yesterday and figured why not share it today. 🙂 The poetry form is called, for whatever reason, a Miniature.
