Chocolate is delicious. There, 2 prompts fulfilled in only 3 words! 😀
That’s not my whole post, though. DVerse has a quadrille prompt on this fine Monday, and the given word is “Muse.”
She muses on what it means to be whole —
Where is fulfillment hiding?
Is it in attainment of goals
Or steps toward them taking?
Maybe it’s in relationships
(She aches to be somebody’s muse) —
She sees glimpses of wholeness,
Clues, pointing to Eternal dwellings.

Lovely poem!

Loving that internal rhyme with “muse” and “Clues.” I think we all long for this, at one time or another…

I just love that last line, but the questions that build fundamentally grab me too.

To be someone’s muse… I wonder if it is as good as it might seem until you are.
