Bittersweet Uniqueness

how I love
bitterness,
but only

when it comes
to coffee —
let us drink

from broken
vessels life’s
uniqueness

This is a Tricube poem in response to MVB: Broken. Thanks to Jules for introducing me to this form. It is also inspired by my morning coffee — my coffee is often quite inspirational! XD

As a bonus, here is the first tricube that I wrote, from about a week ago:

how many
syllables
in tricube?

it makes for
pretty short
poetry

hard to not
go over
twenty-sev–

  1. Thank you for trying the tri-cube! All short forms can be challening. I like how your first one ended 🙂

It is fun to try and get something across with limited words. Cheers ~Jules
